Fisher House

Last year our generous listeners donated over $140,000 to the Fisher House. This year we are again asking your help.

It costs $10 per day per room to house a wounded veteran or their family in a Fisher House room. The Richmond Fisher House runs at 95% capacity. With your donation you can help make sure that a hotel room is available when the Fisher House is full.

This year we're also trying to build a new Virginia Fisher House at Fort Belvoir. 100% of the money we raise will stay here in Virginia.

The James River Lions Club is challenging other service clubs to donate to the Fisher House. They're willing to match every dollar pledged by area service clubs, up to $10,000. Learn more about the club and their challenge Click Here!
