Dinwiddie, VA (1140wrva.com) – The Dinwiddie Commonwealth's Attorney says she will ask for the death penalty for Russell Brown, 28.  Brown is accused of shooting Master Trooper Junius Walker along I-85 near Dewitt on Thursday.

Brown told the court Friday morning he wanted to represent himself, and told the court he was likely going to be executed anyway.  Commonwealth's Attorney Lisa Caruso says Brown will have a lawyer, and is set for another hearing March 18th.

State Police are still working on a motive for why Brown shot Walker.
