Happy 50th birthday to Meadowbrook High School!!!
The celebration begins tonight. There is the homecoming football game against Prince George. The pregame hospitality tables will be open in the gym lobby from 6:00-7:00 pm. You will sign in, receive a special alumni token for attending, and get information on what you will be included in during the game. Alumni football players will run out onto the field with the team. All other alumni will be invited to participate in the halftime parade featuring an alumni marching band.
Then the celebration continues on Saturday with an open house at the school from 10am to 2pm. Here are some of the activities.

5. Art mural unveiling
6. Library historical display
7. Lunch available for purchase through the PTSA
There will also be a homecoming dance on Satuday night for alumni.

The preseason poll is out and VCU has been tabbed as the team to beat in the A-10 this season with Richmon picked 6th out of the 13 teams.
Also, Juvonte Reddic and Treveon Graham of the Rams were named 1st team preseason all-conference. Cedric Lindsay of the Spiders was on 3rd team.
